TRU is False was started to keep tabs on Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen "The Clown" Trutanich after many of those who supported him realized they had been conned.

16 months since the pledges he made on the steps of City Hall to be "Open and Transparent" and "Accountable," it now sees clear that Trutanich is none of those things.

In 2012, when Trutanich starts his campaign to be re-elected, or become District Attorney, this blog will stand as a reminder of who Trutanich really is, and what he has really done.

Trutanich often uses old adages, well here's one for him: "Make a fool out of us once, that's your fault. Make a fool out of us twice, that's our fault."

We're not giving Trutanich the opportunity to make fools out of us again.
